Winnipeg Partnership Agreement invests $3.0 million in first projects

Reg Alcock, President of the Treasury Board and Minister responsible for the Canadian Wheat Board, Greg Selinger, Minister of Finance on behalf of Scott Smith, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and Trade, and his Worship Mayor Sam Katz, Mayor of Winnipeg, today jointly announced the first seven projects supported under the new tripartite Winnipeg Partnership Agreement (WPA). Over the five-year life of the new agreement the four component programs will support dozens of projects designed to invest in the city’s Aboriginal community, neighbourhoods, downtown and knowledge-based sector.
