Women in STEM will be highlighted at a Winnipeg Soapbox Science event taking place virtually on the Soapbox Science Youtube Channel, Saturday, November 7, at 11:00 am.

The event is hosted by UWinnipeg researchers Dr. Manisha Ajmani and her sister Nisha Ajmani. The sisters are passionate advocates for women’s education in the STEM field and strongly believe women can help shape the future of the world by making a difference in the field of science.

“Engaging female researchers in public outreach events can be very encouraging for many more young women to take up STEM areas of study.” said Manisha.

A dynamic roster of speakers will share insight into their work in science, technology, engineering, and medicine.
