Tip a Cop: Support Our Inner-City Youth

On Wednesday, March 15, the Winnipeg Police Service is holding its fourth annual Boston Pizza Tip A Cop event in support of education for inner-city youth. Uniformed officers will be serving food over lunch (11:00 am – 2:00 pm) and dinner (5:00 pm – 8:00 pm).

All tips they make will go to the Winnipeg Police Service Opportunity Scholarships Fund, which supports inner-city youth with a $2,500 scholarship in pursuit of their post-secondary education at The University of Winnipeg.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service Opportunity Scholarships in Memory of Injured and Fallen Officers are in support of educational opportunities for high school students from the North End and Downtown Winnipeg. These Scholarships are renewable annually, with the intention that students receive scholarship support throughout their University degree.
