Science Rendezvous

All welcome - May 9

Find out how much fun science can be at the annual Science Rendezvous event at The University of Winnipeg.  Everyone is welcome to attend this free event on Saturday, May 9th from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. in the Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex, 599 Portage Avenue.

This family-friendly Open House celebrates science in Canada and is held simultaneously across the country.

This year UWinnipeg will also feature fun activities that will let visitors:

*play with sound

*discover why the human thumb is so unique

*try the newest computer programs

*learn how animals communicate in the wild

*fire a smoke cannon

*discover how to increase the chance of winning “Let’s Make a Deal”

*try mapping the constellations
