WINNIPEG, MB – The University of Winnipeg today launched Help us Grow, a fundraiser to support the Inner-City Jr. Wesmen basketball teams.
You can participate by purchasing your locally grown Manitoba pumpkin for Halloween, or buy 20 pumpkins to be donated to inner-city families ($100.00 with charitable tax receipt provided).
A 15-pound pumpkin can be yours for $6.00 and ALL proceeds will go to support the Inner-City Jr. Wesmen, a basketball program for boys and girls. You will be supporting tournaments, the purchase of uniforms and education funding for inner-city youth to attend The University of Winnipeg’s Model School.
