In a recent presentation, Dr. Currie stated “The most important determinant of student experience is the classroom, the seminar, the practicum, or the lab, and student experience rests on UWinnipeg’s excellent faculty. However, there is more to the equation than this.” He observes “Institutionally, we are smarter together, as a team, and I look forward to progress on our fiscal and retention issues, while maintaining our academic and research excellence.”
Dr. Currie remains active in teaching and research, is an accomplished magician, and has attained a 4th degree black belt in Judo.
