UPDATE: Choose from one of four newly added information sessions, to be held in Room 1C16A (1st Floor, Centennial Hall) from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. on the following Mondays: May 30, June 13, June 27, and July 11, 2016. No registration is required.

Beginning March 2nd, UWinnipeg students will be able to go online and easily plan out their entire program, from first year through to graduation! Student Planning is a web-based self-service solution that helps students plan their course selections according to their specific degree requirements and makes it easy to register for those courses using an interactive timetable. The easy-to-use Student Planning tool can be accessed from a mobile device or computer.

The new tool lets users create a multi-year plan — taking into account course prerequisites and the terms/years in which those courses are typically offered.  Once course sections are available, students can plan the specific section they want to take. The timetable plan can be saved, so the student needs only to click “Register” once her/his registration tier opens for the term.

For more information, UWinnipeg has created a page which provides answers to frequently asked questions about the new Student Planning tool,, and there is also a series of nine online videos for students, which offers an easy-to-follow tutorial. The tool is accessible by logging into WebAdvisor and clicking on “Student Planning”.

Six student information sessions are being held from March 2 – 22, enabling students to see firsthand how the new Student Planning tool works, and to get their questions answered. Click here to register for one of the sessions.
