More flexible learning at PACE

WINNIPEG, MB – The University of Winnipeg’s Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) is offering an innovative learning opportunity with the new online Management Certificate Program. The interactive, online courses include group discussions, collaborative work with classmates and engaging assignments. This online format allows flexibility for the student to do course work in a way that works best for them while being immersed in an interactive environment.

“This is the first of many exciting and germane online certificate offerings at PACE,” explained Dr. Sylvie Albert, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Professional Education. “The online management certificate is designed for individuals who want to develop their professional skills and further their career within a convenient framework. A significant advantage to this program is the opportunity for graduates to transfer credits, which can be applied towards a future degree at UWinnipeg.”

Students of the online Management Certificate Program will explore current business topics and trends using case analysis methodology, providing a platform to develop the skills required to help businesses excel in the current competitive environment.  The certificate program places emphasis on leading and motivating employees, communication and problem-solving.
