The Magnus Eliason Community Club is situated just a few blocks from us, and serves a community where the needs are great. Our new Inner City Jr. Wesmen basketball division is in need of basketball shoes both boys and girls.
As winter approaches, there are many families with children who need mittens, hats and scarves. Many of the children are about to experience their first winter in Canada.
Please consider donating your gently used basketball shoes and gently used scarves mittens and toques. Alternatively while out shopping please remember this plea and add a pair of mittens or a toque to your shopping cart.
You may drop off these new or used items at the Duckworth Centre and the staff will ensure they are passed on those in need.
