Métis Kitchen Table Talk: photo album

Indigenous art curators and scholars discussed art, knowledge systems, and community connections at a recent Métis Kitchen Table Talk, Sparking Miyeu Pimatishiwin, which took place on Thursday, February 6 at The University of Winnipeg.

Approximately 100 community members gathered around the table in Leatherdale Hall, beading and weaving while listening to a discussion by Cathy Mattes (Brandon University), Dr. Julie Nagam (UWinnipeg), Dr. Heather Igloliorte (Concordia University), Jaime Isaac (Winnipeg Art Gallery), Jocelyn Pilrainen (Winnipeg Art Gallery), Daina Warren (Urban Shaman Gallery), and Niki Little (imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival).
