UWinnipeg’s main campus will be closed on Saturday, August 17 from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm due to a scheduled power outage so that Manitoba Hydro can repair a transformer.
The following areas will be directly or indirectly affected during the power outage: Centennial Hall, Riddell Hall, Graham Hall, Lockhart Hall, Manitoba Hall, Ashdown Hall, Bryce Hall, Wesley Hall, and Leatherdale Hall.
Note: the Axworthy RecPlex and Duckworth Centre will be operational on Saturday, as these buildings will not be affected by the power outage.
