The University of Winnipeg’s Campus Sustainability Office hosted the 2020 Vision: Environmental Research Fair on Wednesday, February 5.
Research from across university departments and student groups were highlighted during the event, as collaborative sustainability opportunities within and beyond campus were discussed.
“UWinnipeg continues to be a leader in understanding how complex issues impact climate and sustainability.” said Dr. Jino Distasio, Vice President Research and Innovation. “The Prairie Climate Centre is a leader in both research and application of how we understand and address climate change. Internally, our Campus Sustainability Office has contributed to our imagination of how a large urban campus can lead in transformative shifts operations, maintenance, and expansion of facilities. The Research Fair is one more way in which we can learn and share information.”
