Strini Reddy of the Winnipeg Boys & Girls Clubs introduces an award of recognition for Service Learning courses in the Faculty of Education at the University of Winnipeg
The University of Winnipeg is pleased the Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg have recognized the Faculty of Education for making Service Learning an integral part of its BEd programs. Both the mandatory first year course and optional advanced course in Service Learning provide students with first-hand experience making an immediate impact in the community at designated sites such as Boys and Girls Clubs, while giving community partners thousands of hours of work from students who help with the intention to learn.
