Free Public Lecture – Arab Spring – June 6

This past year, the world was transfixed by quickly moving events that came to be known as “The Arab Spring.” Everyone is invited to a free public lecture on this topic on June 6, 2012, at the University of Winnipeg.

The Inaugural El Tassi Lecture will be given by Professor Amr Abdalla, Vice Rector at the UN Affiliated University for Peace in Costa Rica.

He will be discussing “The Impact of Arab Spring on Terrorism and Democratization in the Middle East”.
