David Suzuki and Ian Mauro to tour ‘Beyond Climate’ in BC

Two of Canada’s leading science communicators — Dr. David Suzuki and Dr. Ian Mauro — are touring southern British Columbia this month to promote their new film Beyond Climate.

Released late in 2018, Beyond Climate addresses many of the pressing issues British Columbia is facing today, including pipelines, liquefied natural gas, wild salmon, and Indigenous rights. The film, which has been accepted into festivals across Canada and around the world, is a timely contribution to the province and country as it grapples with climate change, the paramount issue of our time.

Beyond Climate also completes a trilogy of climate change films by Mauro, who is the co-director of the Prairie Climate Centre and an associate professor of geography at The University of Winnipeg.
