University of Winnipeg students packed into the Duckworth Centre’s Dr. David F. Anderson Gymnasium on Tuesday for the annual Career Fair. With more than 80 exhibitors set up, students were able to connect with recruiters from various companies, organizations, and university programs, learning about potential careers, part-time jobs, and volunteer and internship positions.

Unique opportunity for UWinnipeg students
One of the exhibitors at the event was the Government of Canada’s Student Ambassador for UWinnipeg. They have more than 50 full-time positions available within the federal government — specifically for UWinnipeg students and recent graduates. To be considered, apply before the January 20 deadline; selected applicants will be invited to a Speed Staffing Event at UWinnipeg on February 11 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
