Art with purpose at ArtFest

Commercial artist Robin Appasamy’s art will adorn the hallways of Riddell Hall and the Richardson Centre for the Environment and Sciences with a brand new collection Serenity, made specifically for UWinnipeg’s 3rd annual ArtsFest, and inspired by the spaces in which the work is displayed. Her art work will be for sale with 10% of the proceeds being donated back to the University of Winnipeg’s Opportunity Fund.

Appasamy is a Canadian Artist who throughout her career has been exposed to different mediums, finding herself compelled to express herself through them. She works with Encaustic, Resin, Sand and Metallic paints. Appasamy is a chameleon artist who has the ability to immerse herself into different atmospheres and create artwork that complements her client’s style and enhances her surroundings.
