Congratulations to all of the graduates and honourees at The University of Winnipeg’s 2018 Autumn Convocation ceremony last Friday. UWinnipeg honoured outstanding students, faculty, and staff, including valedictorian Daniel Russell.
UWinnipeg bestowed an internationally renowned cardiovascular researcher, educator, and community leader, Dr. Pawan K. Singal, with an honorary degree. The University also honoured two faculty members for their community engagement and sustainability. Dr. Lee Anne Block received the Campus Sustainability Recognition Award and Dr. Jino Distasio was given the Clarence Atchison Award for Excellence in Community Service.
