2012 State Of The University Address

Lloyd Axworthy

Dr. Lloyd Axworthy

Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, President and Vice-Chancellor will outline priorities for The University of Winnipeg for the year ahead in his 2012 State of the University address on Friday, September 7. Shortly after, teams will take to the front lawn for the ever-popular Great Rock Climb, a tradition that began in 1971 to commemorate the 100thanniversary of Manitoba College, a founding college of what is now The University of Winnipeg. Each team will try to scale the giant 25-ton granite “Rock of Remembrance” that sits at the front of the campus. Everyone is invited to attend both events.
