For the first time since 2002, the University of Winnipeg Wesmen Men’s Basketball team will be at the Duckworth Centre for a Canada West Playoff series. Head coach Mike Raimbault and his team finished the regular season with a record of 14-8 and a second place finish in the Prairie Division. Winnipeg will challenge the Trinity Western University Spartans in the best of three Canada West quarter-final series.
Wesmen fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing red and being part of the first-ever “Red-Out At The Duckworth”
Game times and dates are as follows:
• Friday, February 22 – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, February 23 – 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, February 24 – 2:00 p.m. (if necessary)
General Admission Prices:
• Adult – $10.00
• Students (17 & Under) – $5.00
• UW Students – FREE
• Youth 12 & Under – FREE with paying adult
Wesmen fans can purchase their playoff tickets via the Wesmen Online store
The Winnipeg Wesmen are encouraging groups to attend the playoff series and take advantage of a special playoff ticket deal.
Youth Group Deal: Youth groups can purchase a special package to each game for only $4.00, which includes a popcorn and a Coke.
