For the second year in a row the Wesmen Men’s Baseball Team will get the chance to play with the pros. The Wesmen will play the Winnipeg Goldeyes (2012 American Baseball Association Champions) in a special exhibition game this Friday night, May 10 at Shaw Park starting at 6:00 p.m.
“Once again we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to play the Goldeyes. They are a major supporter of our program and we appreciate everythng they do for us”, said Wesmen Men’s Baseball head coach Mike Krykewich.
General admission tickets are $5.00 and are available at the Winnipeg Goldeyes Ticket Office located at Shaw Park.
“The Winnipeg Goldeyes are excited to once again host the University of Winnipeg Wesman as part of our exhibition schedule at Shaw Park. The Goldeyes and Wesman are brothers in the Manitoba baseball community and the Goldeyes are proud to support the growing Wesman baseball program”, added Winnipeg Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier.
