The University of Winnipeg Wesmen Men’s Basketball team is playing Friday night in the Canada West Final Four in Vancouver and you can watch the action live.
All Wesmen fans are invited to come down to Garbonzo’s Pizza Pub on campus (in The AnX at 471 Portage Avenue) on Friday night and cheer the Wesmen on as they play the Victoria Vikes in the semi-final matchup.
The winner of the game will automatically advance to the CIS Men’s Basketball Championships in Ottawa from March 8-10 and play in the gold medal game on Saturday to declare the Canada West Men’s Basketball champion.
Game action begins on Friday at 10:45 pm. Fans are encouraged to come to Garbonzo’s early and take advantage of several food and drink specials:
– Wear Wesmen gear and receive 20% off food or $2.00 pizza slice after 10:00 p.m.
– Fort Garry Beer products will be available for $3.50 per bottle.
Winnipeg will play in either the gold or bronze medal game on Saturday.
Gold medal game 10:00 p.m. (Wpg Time) Bronze medal game at 8:00 p.m.
