UWSA needs feedback on accessible student lounge

The University of Winnipeg Students’ Association is looking for input on its Access Lounge initiative. The purpose of the lounge is to create additional study and hang-out space on campus dedicated to students with disabilities.

The UWSA is asking students for feedback on what the Access Lounge should look like and what should be included in the space.

UWSA accessibility director, Mohamed Behi, is hosting an info session about the initiative on Friday, Feb. 17 at 12:30 pm in The Hive. Behi will also be available for a drop-in info session about the lounge in the Accessibility Resource Centre (Room 1M35) on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm.

If you are unable to make it to the info sessions, the UWSA’s student survey is also available online here.
