The Winnipeg Free Press published their Power 30 list and many UWinnipeggers made the prestigious list.
UWinnipeg President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Lloyd Axworthy made it in the top ten; others on the power list include UWinnipeg’s Chancellor Bob Silver, UWinnipeg’s Director of Indigenous Inclusion Wab Kinew, UWinnipeg’s former Innovative Learning Centre Co-ordinator Kevin Chief, Jamie Wilson who serves on UWinnipeg’s Indigenous Advisory Circle, as well as several UWinnipeg honorary doctorate recipients (including Hartley T. Richardson, David Chartrand, and Justice Murray Sinclair).
