The University of Winnipeg extends its congratulations to Masters in Cultural Studies, Curatorial Practices Graduate Abigail Auld, for receiving a Manitoba Day Award for her project WPGxHBC. She completed the multimedia project as part of her MA program practicum with the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives, Archives of Manitoba. WPGxHBC allows users to explore the early and lasting influence the Hudson’s Bay Company has had on the City of Winnipeg. You can read more about the project here.

The Manitoba Day Award is presented each year by the Association for Manitoba Archives, recognizing excellence in original works produced by users of archives.
