UWinnipeg at the Fringe: La La La Dispute

There’s no debate about it: attending “La La La Dispute” at this year’s Fringe Festival is a great way to experience local theatre and support UWinnipeg’s home-grown talent at the same time.

The University of Winnipeg Fringe Company–the creative force behind “La La La Dispute”–is set up as a credit course for UWinnipeg students who have completed at least two years of training. Students perform at the Fringe and are taught and graded on all aspects of mounting a production.

An adaptation of the 18th century comedy written by French playwright Marivaux, the “La La La Dispute” attempts to solve the argument: who is more likely to be unfaithful in love–men or women?
