University of Winnipeg Spring Pow Wow: Everyone Welcome to Attend!

“The Pow Wow is a celebration of life and spring,” says Cynthia Albany, a member of the Aboriginal Students’ Association (ASA) Pow Wow Committee. “It promotes unity and bridge-building with non-Aboriginal people, and makes other Aboriginal students on campus aware that we (ASA) are here.”

The University of Winnipeg Spring Pow Wow takes place March 26, 2004 at Duckworth Centre (Spence St. at Ellice Ave.) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

 

9:30 a.m. – Doors open
11:00 a.m. – Pipe Ceremony
12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – Grand Entry
4:30 p.m. – Feast

Dance Specials will also be held.
