Earlier today, UWinnipeg faculty, staff, and students were invited to pedal their hearts out in the revival of a classic campus competition that has returned to campus in honour of UWinnipeg’s 50th anniversary. Twenty-five participants made up of students and staff competed in five separate heats that tested stamina and childhood muscle memory. The tight race went to Joshua Genman, who took first place and attributed his success to borrowing his little sister’s tricycle! Daniel Bauer and Tyler Trautwein took second and third place respectively.

UWinnipeg would like to thank the participants, The WRENCH for supplying the tricycles, and Paul Friesen for hosting the afternoon’s races.
