Updated 10:42 p.m

Further to the original notice, a number of buildings on The University of Winnipeg campus have been affected by water related to heavy rains earlier this evening. Buildings impacted to some extent include Graham Hall, Bulman Centre, the AnX, Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex, and Centennial Hall. While the Duckworth Centre is also affected by water on campus, the Duckworth parkade is dry and remains accessible. The new United Health & RecPlex was not affected.

University security personnel and staff members have been on campus all evening assessing the extent of damage and taking measures to protect equipment and property as possible. Cleaning crews are also on site, working to mitigate water damage.

The campus will be open Friday morning. Further updates will be shared with the UWinnipeg community on Friday.
