PACE recognized for use of interactive technology

UWinnipeg’s school of Professional, Applied Continuing Education (PACE) has been recognized for its innovative use of Layar augmented reality technology. The recently published PACE magazine uses Layar to enhance the print document, enabling readers to view online videos of the UWinnipeg PACE grads who are featured in the publication — simply by holding their smartphones atop the pages.

The UWinnipeg PACE project is prominently listed on the “Get Inspired” page of the Layar website, showcased alongside the Layar inspirations of well-known international brands such as Crystal Light, Reader’s Digest, Nissan, and Elle.
