PACE partners with People First HR Services to offer the Advanced HR Certificate Program

The University of Winnipeg’s Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) has partnered with People First HR Services to launch a new Advanced Human Resources Certificate Program — the first of its kind in Manitoba — to advance the skills of senior HR leaders.

Specifically designed for HR professionals with three to five years of work experience, it will be offered starting in the spring of 2019.

“We’re very excited to partner with People First HR Services and offer this one-of-a-kind program to HR professionals,” said Kim Loeb, Executive Director of PACE. “PACE is already highly regarded as the place to begin training for your HR career, now with this new partnership we are ready to support senior level industry professionals looking to expand and enhance their knowledge.  PACE has separated itself from the others and is the go-to place for all things HR.”

Combining PACE’s highly regarded HR training with the expertise of People First HR Services, this unique program will provide HR professionals with skills in emerging trends and the opportunity to network with other professionals.

“This agreement is an important step towards ensuring human resources professionals are equipped to meet the opportunities and challenges of Manitoba firms,” said Sue Tardi, Senior Vice President of People First HR Services. “Building on The University of Winnipeg’s strong foundation in HR discipline, this certificate program will provide participants with strategic insight into the newest approaches in talent management and creating healthy, effective, and inclusive teams.”

PACE provides students opportunities to complete their education as efficiently as possible, through flexible learning schedules, small class sizes, and with the ability to complete course material online or in our acclaimed University environment. PACE also offers hybrid programs, which blend the best components of the online and in-class learning experience. With intensive course materials and the highly reputable support of The University of Winnipeg, most students complete their programs within one year.
