The University of Winnipeg Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) is now offering an industry relevant Supply Chain Management Diploma (SCMD) program. SCMD is a full-time one-year program that provides students with hands-on skills and knowledge needed to manage, organize, and run the supply chain. The program offers students an educational experience that is rooted in real-world experience and current industry needs, and is supported by the Supply Chain Management Association – Manitoba (SCMA).
SCMD is an industry expert-delivered program that covers all aspects of supply chain management, including logistics, procurement, and knowledge management to global sourcing. PACE grads will have the skills needed to apply theory to the practical workplace.
“We are very excited to launch this new program,” said Kim Loeb, Executive Director, PACE. “Developing this program in consultation with the Supply Chain Management Association and being the only management level program in Manitoba aligned with the national sector council sets us apart in terms of validity of content and industry connections. PACE strives to work with industry to deliver courses that are practical, timely, and relevant, and we believe this program ticks all those boxes”.
This program is ideal for individuals seeking a competitive edge to advance in the SCM industry or an opportunity to enter this growing field in Manitoba.
The program is taking applications with the next classes beginning in January 2020.
