Aurora celebrates Master of Marriage and Family Therapy grads on June 13

All are invited to celebrate the achievements of graduating students from the Aurora Family Therapy Centre and the Master of Marriage and Family Therapy Program at The University of Winnipeg. The graduation celebration takes place on Saturday, June 13 at 1:00pm at Cross Ways in Common Young United Church.

Those who plan to attend are asked to provide an RSVP to Wanda  at 204-789-1405 or w.yamamoto@uwinnipeg.ca. Note: there is a $20 cost to attend; a light lunch and refreshments will be served.

This is the Centre’s 43rd year of service to the community, and the graduating class is the third-largest to date. Eleven people will receive a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree, while 24 candidates will receive certificates in Marriage and Family Theory or in Marriage and Family Therapy.

“As the largest graduate program at The University of Winnipeg, we are very proud of our students’ achievements and what they will be able to provide to the larger community,” said John Smyth, Executive Director of the Aurora Family Therapy Centre.

Administratively, the Master of Marriage and Family Therapy Program will move into UWinnipeg’s Faculty of Education in the fall of 2015.
