HR Program At PACE Earns Readers Choice Award

HR Reporter readers choice award emblemThe Human Resource Management Diploma program offered by The University of Winnipeg’s Professional, Applied Continuing Education (PACE) arm has earned a 2016 “Readers Choice Award” from the publication Canadian HR Reporter, the national journal of human resource management.

The award, based on reader votes, was in the category of Prairie Provinces HR Diploma Programs. More than 17,000 votes were cast across the country for the 2016 Readers Choice awards; participants were asked to identify the organizations they prefer to deal with and those which they feel provide notable value.

“We feel very proud to be recognized by HR Reporter readers for our HR Diploma Program. Over the years we have worked very closely with industry to align our program with the needs of the profession.  Our focus has always been on graduate success and this recognition proves we are delivering a program that both students and industry value,” said Kim Loeb, Executive Director of UWinnipeg PACE.

The full-time Human Resource Management diploma is the highest HR educational credential in Manitoba, outside of a business degree. The UWinnipeg PACE program distinguishes itself from academic competitors by layering traditional elements of human resource management with a heavy emphasis on leadership, concrete business tools, and effective communication.
