Shauna MacKinnon, assistant professor in UWinnipeg’s Department of Urban and Inner City Studies, is launching her new book on Wednesday, October 7, at McNally Robinson, at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. The book is titled: Decolonizing Employment: Aboriginal Inclusion in Canada’s Labour Market “A cogent, well-documented critique of neoliberal labour market policy and how it impacts Indigenous peoples in Canada. This book points out the implications of ideologically motivated policy which ignores the impacts of colonization.
